Customer Solutions Pre-Sales Engineer - Americas

Main responsibilities

As a Pre-Sales Engineer your responsibility is to understand and identify our clients’ needs and create solutions based on the Qmatic product portfolio. This comprises all from technical sales, to the documentation of solutions and configuration of the system.


■      Act as technical expert in customer interactions both in pre-sales presentations, offering, prestudy, pilots and project execution
■      Function as a technical project leader for development and customer projects
■      Convert market requirements into detailed product requirements and design specifications       
■      Travel within an international territory, and help partners to present Qmatic Solutions to customers            
■      Train customers and partners for Qmatic Solutions
■      Participate in proposal, analysis, design and development of technology initiatives
■      Consult with 3rd party companies to assist in integrations

Your background

■      Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related IT fields
■      An interest in hardware and the interaction between specialized industry hardware and software        
■      Familiar with interaction between software components (API and integrations)
■      Trustworthy and able to build good relationships and work smoothly with others
■      Analytical skills and a solution-oriented approach
■      Strong communication skill
■      Self-motivated with ability to work efficiently, both independently and in a team
■      A positive attitude to perform other tasks in periods when it is necessary
■      A team player who contribute with new ideas, with ability to take others view into account        
■      Customer focused with a service minded approach, to provide outstanding customer experience          
■      Familiar with JavaScript, HTML, XML and CSS
■      Familiar with SQL databases, web services, SOAP, REST application servers like JBoss
■      Fluent in English and Spanish in writing, speaking and reading. Advantage if you have additional language knowledge
